Best eggs I’ve ever had!! All of Rachel’s eggs are beautiful, multicolored, and absolutely delicious. You can really tell they’re high quality just by the color of the yolk!! Buying quality eggs is really important to me and my small family and everytime I need them this farm is my go to!! It’s such an incredible experience coming to the farm as well. It’s been amazing getting to know Rachel, seeing her children run all around, and meet the farm animals. I absolutely love that you can see all the chickens running free and happy!! Rachel is one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever met and the love she pours into the farm doesn’t go unnoticed. You will not regret purchasing your eggs here!! I highly recommend them :)
This is my second purchase from this small family farm and I will continue to support their business as they grow. Eggs are fresh and packaged super cute ! During my second visit , I was able to see the chickens run around all crazy and free (like flying from chairs crazy and laying eggs everywhere LOL) . Not caged or stressed. The owner Rachel always adds a nice personal touch to the packaging. We chatted a little and she really wants to be able to give back to the community while supporting her family. Badass Mom farmer ! Yea! Kid friendly , yea!
First time buying from Freshcoln, and we’re really happy with the whole process! Rachel was very communicative, and helped work with us on different options for when Mother Nature has different plans. We have 12 gorgeous chicks, all doing well in our brooders. We will definitely be back!
Rachel is amazing. She is so personable. I ordered chicks from her and it was the easiest transaction. I felt like a friend and not just a customer. She truly cares about her farm and her animals. She ensures people have the knowledge to build their own little homestead. She is truly a gem!!!
We had a wonderful time at the soil blocking workshop. Rachel is warm and welcoming and also very knowledgeable. She taught us well and answered our questions. We left ready to greatly increase the number of seeds we can start using soil blocking. We will definitely be back for a future workshop.
Rachel has the most stunningly unique and most beautiful flowers around town! ,, to her precision, finesse 🤌🏼 and care from cut, to the arrangement/bouquets to the bow and jar, she puts out! They are just perfect for any occasion! They will stop and catch anyones eye as they walk thew the room just breath taking,, I will refer anyone to her then the stores! So reasonably priced, and comes with food and will last for weeks! (Mine a month&1/2!), I called last minute for a bouquet for my sister(since none was left on her stand) and she stopped everything! Just to go perfectly choose,cut, & arrange this most ahh-mazing bouquet for her bday! She cares for her customers as she does her flowers and it shows,, hands down the most UNIQUE, beautifuly arranged flowers around! To Add:: she has more then just flowers as well from events to seasonal! Go check out her page/stand! I received 4 laying hens from Freshcoln Farms in November, and all 4 have the sweetest personalities! I was anticipating a 1-2 week integration period, but by day 2, they were completely integrated and had no fights with my other 7 hens. Even though they just moved in, I still got an egg the second morning! They never displayed any stress during or after the move. Additionally, Rachel has been a wonderful resource, educating me on millions of questions I had (new chicken mom here). She also gave me the confidence I needed because I was nervous about how to add hens to an existing flock (that I acquired less than a week prior). Thank you Rachel and Freshcoln Farms!

From a seasoned chicken tender: if you’re looking to purchase chicks, Freshcoln Farms is a great option. They have lots of variety and are very easy to order from and work with. Pick up was as scheduled and a breeze. Ordered 10 chicks from them, and all are doing well in our brooder! I will be using them again!
