So we wanted to try them since they moved locations. The meat I received was good and everything I went through was accurate except our sausage. We didn’t receive any sausage. Which every pig should have sausage. They were surprised that we didn’t receive any. She said most pigs have about 15 pounds of sausage. When I went to pick it up they gave me ten. I was super disappointed because first off we paid a ton of money for our hog it was a backup fair hog and we fed it really well. I didn’t receive my meat and then they didn’t even do what she said she would. I actually really liked my cuts of meat and the sausage was good. I just have hard time when things like this happen that make it not a pleasant situation. I don’t know if we will go back.
Davis Meats is exceptional. I love they will customize the package sizing and cut it per my directions. I’ve been a repeat customer. Farm to Table at its best!!!

Love them! This is the 2nd year they have cut and wrapped our beef. Friendly and helpful. Keep in mind when they give you a weight, it is hanging weight. You will not get that exact weight in meat. I just noticed a comment on missing lbs. I feel they are very fair, and it is a great price per pound.
Difficult communication, different answers from different employees regarding a large amount, about 95lbs of missing meat. Told several times the order was complete and paid, a week later the meat was found, and additional cost required for the packaging. Packaging was nice, cuts appear good, would be nice if they added some ink to their stamp pad as the labeling is faint and hard to read. Overall this turned into a large hassle, and I'll be using other shops in the future.
LOVE Davis Meats! Great, generous, hardworking, friendly people. They have supported our nonprofit for more than 16 years and I've been purchasing a side of beef every year for the past 6-7 years. Some of the best meat I've ever tasted and it's LOCAL raised.
Good customer service in person, but when we contacted them to resolve missing 100 pounds of meat, we were treated rudely and was told that meat lost weight when they cut it. I don't think meat would loose 100 pounds from when they hang it to when it's package, frozen, and picked up. Double check your purchase
I was referred to this place by a friend. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by a friendly lady. I was asked to back up my truck to the door for unloading of my elk. A gentleman was quick to come out and unload if for me. With a quick turn around time I went back to pickup my meat and again was immediately greeted by a friendly lady. They went right in the freezer and helped me load the truck with well packaged meat. Not to mention way more meat than I expected. I would definitely recommend Davis custom meats to anyone and will continue to use them!
Call ahead of time to make sure that they had room for my deer. Drove 45 minutes to get there. As soon as I got there I was told they had room for one more and back my vehicle up to their door. As soon as the Guy saw the cooler in the back of my vehicle he said he wouldn’t take it because it was already quartered out and it would take him too long to process the meat that way. He was kinda rude about the whole thing. Never asked what cuts or what I wanted to do with it. Had High hope‘s because I heard that they were very good butcher. But I was treated poorly. Won’t be going back and would not recommend.
Their customer service is phenomenal!!! They do exactly what you want in a timely manner!!! I will do all my business through them from now on only. Everyone should go there.

I would like to know why I got two front shoulder roasts and no prime cuts when I ordered a quarter of a cow? Where did all the prime cuts go? I got cheated will never go back again.
