Harvest Valley Farms is a sustainable, family-owned farm situated just 20 miles north of Pittsburgh in Valencia, PA. Established as a cornerstone of local agriculture, the farm is managed by Larry, Art, and David King, who contribute their expertise to deliver the finest quality produce to the community.
The farm's journey began after Norman King passed away in 1992, when Larry King invited his brother, Art, to partner with him. With Art's son, David, joining the operation in 2005, the farm has evolved into a thriving network connecting consumers directly to farm-grown produce.
Harvest Valley Farms is dedicated to environmentally responsible practices. They employ beneficial insects, organically certified pesticides, and pelleted chicken manure fertilizer, alongside crop rotation and cover cropping to build and maintain fertile soil. Their approach reduces pesticide and fertilizer use by about 60%, emphasizing the importance of sustainability.
The farm produces over 150 varieties of fruits and vegetables, enriched by a CSA program that provides members with fresh, local produce and cheese from nearby creameries. During the growing season, they market their products through various outlets in and around Pittsburgh.
In addition to produce, the farm also nurtures an array of greenhouse plants, including herbs, vegetable plants, and flowers. Customers can also find locally sourced products at their market and bakery located on William Flynn Hwy, Bakerstown, PA.
Harvest Valley takes advantage of each season's unique offerings. Spring welcomes greenhouse sales, summer brings an abundance of produce, and fall is celebrated with a festival, showcasing the best of Pennsylvania's harvest.
Customers can purchase produce at multiple locations around Pittsburgh and at their well-stocked farm market and bakery. Harvest Valley is committed to providing an engaging, community-focused shopping experience that meets customers' needs.

Beautiful farm with cute activities for the kids that are super affordable! Corn pit, corn maze, hayride! Lots of pumpkins to choose from!
Good place to go to pick pumpkins, there was lots to do outside of that and parking was easy. They provided everything you needed for a fun day with the family

Had a great time. Very nice people. Worth a nice drive and visit.
Our Girl Scout troop took a field trip here. We learned about vegetables, went through the corn maze, saw animals, and took a hayride. Art was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. The property is just beautiful. They all loved it!
The experience was amazing from start to finish from getting out of the car to the games to the corn maze and to our Pumkin’s at the end 10/10 .Definitely coming back again next year
Great farm to visit.
Super cute family experience! Not a huge farm so it's the perfect place for kids, especially little ones. There's no lines and crowds of people, so it's stress free and you dont have to worry about losing your kids in the people. Will definitely be going back!
If I could give this zero stars I would. My grandson almost drown in an uncovered ditch. We were taking pictures and my 2 year old grandson took of running not 4 feet from us and fell into a ditch that was covered in tall grass. You could not tell it wasn't solid ground. There was a creek running right there. My daughter grabbed him quickly but he was soaked and scared. Thankfully other customers were close by and helped get blankets to warm him up. No employee ever noticed or came to check on him. When they were informed that it had happened all that they said was, ok we will cover in up. Way to brush aside something that could have been tragic!!!!

Had an awesome time with my family! Great for kids and adults. I suggest show up early in the fall season if you want a good pick of a pumpkin.
