History

Blooms on Buffalo is the realization of Amanda's lifelong passion for flowers and her commitment to family. Starting in 2023, she transformed a personal hobby into a flourishing business that keeps her connected to the land.

The Bloom Bin

The Bloom Bin, an ingeniously repurposed grain bin, stands as the centerpiece of Blooms on Buffalo. It serves as the check-in spot for U-Pick flower events, a collection point for Bloom Bucket orders, and a venue for hosting charming on-farm events.

Flower Offerings

Blooms on Buffalo is not a traditional florist, but they supply fresh, locally grown market-type bouquets and DIY Bloom Buckets, with styles and vitality you won't find in grocery store flowers. Their blooms, nurtured from seed, bulb, corm, tuber, or root, are predominantly sold during Nebraska's prime growing season of April to October.

Events and Experiences

For those seeking a more interactive experience, Blooms on Buffalo offers U-Pick events, bouquet-making workshops, and pop-up gatherings featuring local vendors. Their workshops not only teach hand-tied bouquet crafting but also invite participants to pick some of their flowers. The events often feature local products including sourdough, boutique shopping items, and more.

Visiting and Purchasing

U-Pick sessions occur from mid-July to mid-October, usually on Sunday evenings, depending on field conditions.
