We attended our Granddaughter's wedding reception on Fri, May 23, 2025 at St Basil's Pasture. The owners, Cylas & Mackenzie Conway, were wonderful hosts and made the event beautiful and memorable. Cylas was so helpful in making arrangements to get my husband to the tent with his walker (due to broken foot) and get us settled. I wish we lived closer and could buy their farm products!
The eggs and poultry we get from Cylas and Mackenzie are top-notch! Not only is the quality so much better than what you can normally find at the store, but we also love that their farming practices are focused on sustainability and humane treatment. It’s great being able to visit the farm and see how much love and dedication goes into it!
My wife and I started getting their products. I'm not really this kind of guy, but it's a great kindness to experience animal products, of all kinds, from more humane means. You don't really think about it, but at a certain point of efficiency in our food process we lost the human element. Using St Basil Pastures' products restored a little more humanity in my life, and I can't help but want people to experience it. Thanks to them for their work.
The eggs are ridiculously tasty, I’ve been poaching them and having them with toast and rice dishes and wow, the flavor and texture of the yolks is incredible. The chicken is also noticeably more flavorful than store bought.
