Wife and happened to run into this place while shopping. We ended up getting the smash burger and smoked brisket. So delicious. Having gone to Italy 4 or 5 times, I was curious to know if they had guanciale and sure enough they did! Definitely recommend this place.

Ordered a “classic Italian” and walked around the shop while waiting. Menu is generally worth the price as they carry some serious deli meats. The smash burger with fries looked particularly delicious, so may have to return for that. Butcher case, fresh seafood, and cheese/cured meats selection were impressive. Plenty of unique products on the shelves and often of top tier quality but you’ll pay dearly to take them home.

Tried the brisket sandwich on a pretzel bun at The Butchery in Del Mar and it did not disappoint! The brisket was super tender and flavorful, and the pretzel bun added the perfect touch. Definitely hit the spot will be back for sure!

Fresh meat and seafood. If you want to buy a variety of food ingredients, I really recommend it. The product display is so good that it can be seen at a glance, and Asian ingredients are also quite available. It's also the best place for those who are bothered to camp or barbecue. Simple vacuum packs are packed in a small amount, so they can be cooked quite practically and conveniently, so workers can use them well. There are various kinds of wine. Oil and jam types are also very luxurious to French types.

I’d always wanted to try the burgers here. Since it’s run by a butcher, I was able to enjoy a meaty, juicy burger. I went for lunch, and the place seemed busy with a constant flow of orders. I had the smash burger, and I have no regrets!

This is one of those places that is going to be around for a while. I didn’t shop at the store side of the business, just walked around and ordered a sandwich and some fries for lunch. It was great. Awesome selection of meat types, cuts, and flavors. If you’re having friends over or simply grilling for the weekend, check this place out.

Not the best customer service personally but when my gf went in she was greeted right away and was given a lot of attention. Prices highly expensive for such small proportions. Typical for being located in Del Mar, in my opinion quality and price shouldn’t be compromised based on location.

Tried the grilled chicken sandwich on brioche bread at Butchery and it was really good simple, fresh, and tasty. Everyone there is super friendly and welcoming. I don’t eat red meat, so I can’t speak to their meats, but the sandwich alone makes it worth a visit

Decided to make some homemade sushi and stopped in for some sashimi grade salmon and tuna. This place has very high end meats and fish. Expensive, but so good! Since no one can dine out right now, it's a great place to pick up food for a fancy home cooked meal! They have a small selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, large selection of cheeses, prepared foods and several aisles of other food staples.

The Burgers and the House Sandwich were delicious. It was fantastic beef and cooked perfectly. The SMASHED BURGER is my favorite. It has a delicious garlic aioli and great cheese. The fries were good too. I see a lot more awesome looking sandwiches on the menu that I can't wait to try. This is essentially a meat market and store with a few tables tucked in it, not a sit down restaurant. I think that's good to know. The employees have been kind, helpful and fun every time I have been there. The market itself has ALL kinds of fun things like Truffle oils, Chuao chocolates, cheese and yummy looking sauces. I could get lost forever exploring the interesting variety of spices and crackers and sauces….it’s bliss.
