Enjoyed the rib eye that we purchased. They have every cut imaginable including huge tomahawk steaks, home made sausages, jerky, sides, and desserts. Staff is really helpful, friendly, and informative. You can always find something special here with which to treat yourself! Looks really clean inside and no foul odors.
Always enjoy my visits to VH. Great service, a nice wide variety of premium beef. They carry wood for smoking, tons of different rub and seasoning and an above average craft beer selection. Their stuffed mushrooms are excellent.

This shop has a pretty good selection of meats and product. Was hoping to see elk and venison besides just patties. But the staff was friendly and helpful and everything looks fresh. Got a few packs of brats today to start.
I’ve always believed going to a butcher meant better quality and expert service, but I was really disappointed with my recent experience here. I purchased a T-bone steak and expected a well cut, fresh piece of meat. What I got looked like something you’d find at a discount grocery store discolored, poorly marbled, and just overall low quality. I didn’t think I needed to specify which steak I wanted. I expected the butcher to select something decent. Clearly, that was a mistake on my part. Lesson learned: don’t assume they’ll pick the best cut for you.
ATTN: Midwesterners! Quality black angus beef sourced from Colorado and Minnesota. Pricey, but that is what good meat costs. I would rather know where it's from than pay pennies on the dollar for pink colored goo at Frys. American meat is important to me. So! happy we found Von Honson's. They have lefsa as well! Fresh dog treats cheaper than petsmart. Dozens of sausage flavors and seasonings. You can get a large bundle of meats to stock the freezer and save a few bucks.
Our go to local butcher! Since stumbling upon this place, it's been such a happy surprise! Everything is so fresh. They have different pre-pack options of different cuts of meat already ready to go for quick and easy shopping and also a great wide variety of the freshest cuts. The butcher himself is our fave! (sorry I can't remember your name - but we always joke about relaxin by the pool on days off) ... Every time we go in, we are greeted like family and taken such good care of. Best local family owned butcher in the Chandler/Gilbert area. Stop by, you won't regret it ◡̈

This is hands down my favorite meat shop in the valley. I always grab the jerky and elk meat sticks, and I recently tried their prime rib for the first time and it turned out amazing. Great quality all around and definitely worth coming back for.
