Bailey Farm

History

Bailey Farm stands as a beacon of tradition and innovation in the Snohomish Valley. As a 5th generation family-run establishment, it spans over 350 acres. The u-pick garden legacy began in 1986 on two acres of mixed vegetables and has since expanded to over 50 acres dedicated to a diverse array of fruits and vegetables.

Farming Practices

Bailey Farm employs a blend of conventional and organic farming techniques, highlighting their commitment to sustainability and soil health. This includes minimal use of conventional products, applying organic products, annual compost spreading, and attentive crop rotation with cover crops. All practices aim to enhance soil quality, supporting healthy, bountiful plants.

Offerings

Visitors can indulge in a hands-on farming experience with u-pick options that include strawberries, raspberries, lettuce, spinach, garlic, Walla Walla and red onions. They also offer vegetables suited for canning, such as cucumbers, green beans, and beets. Both u-pick and pre-picked produce are available, catering to all types of visitors.

Visiting and Buying

Open from June through October, Bailey Farm extends a warm invitation to families and curious individuals eager to explore agriculture. Guests can enjoy breathtaking valley views while roaming the fields, learning firsthand how to harvest produce. The farm charges only for the produce picked, adding value to the visitor experience. Be prepared for potential muddy and uneven terrain on some parts of the farm.
