Alemany Farm focuses on community engagement through workshops, volunteer workdays, and educational programs. Offerings

The farm offers free guided youth group visits for K-12 students, educational workshops (e.g., Introduction to Urban Beekeeping), and community workdays open to individuals and groups. Corporate groups can participate in team-building activities, including composting, planting, and harvesting, with options for in-person or virtual events.

Visiting

Groups of up to 20 adults can visit Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 1–5 PM or Fridays from 1–4 PM. Activities include an educational tour followed by hands-on farming tasks. Virtual farm events are available for remote participation. All visits require advance registration via email to community.gardeners@gmail.com.

Community Impact

Alemany Farm provides free produce to neighbors and trains urban farmers from underserved communities. Workshops and volunteer days are donation-based, with no one turned away due to lack of funds. The farm also partners with schools and corporations to foster education and team-building through agricultural experiences.
