Forge Hill Farms is nestled on a 36-acre preserved property in Downingtown, PA. Owned by Scott and Jennifer Simpson, this family farm is dedicated to producing a wide array of fresh, local items while fostering vocational skills for young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

Forge Hill Farms offers a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program that reflects their commitment to community and education. With four membership options—Full Share, Half Share, Buyers Club, and Online Farm Store—members can select their preferred produce weekly, ensuring a personalized and engaging farm experience. Additionally, members can benefit from educational resources that provide insightful ways to cook and use their shares.

Partnerships and Offerings

The farm collaborates with local producers to enhance their offerings, partnering with North Star Orchard for fruit shares and Collective Creamery for year-round cheese shares. Forge Hill Farms also extends its offerings with all-natural lamb, eggs, and honey, along with other local farm products. The year-round Farm Store is accessible to both CSA members and the larger community, providing diverse options through seasonal and fresh products.

Practical Details

Located at 404 Creek Road, Downingtown, PA, Forge Hill Farms allows customers to access their products with convenience. Pickups for CSA shares are available on Thursdays from 4-7 pm and Saturdays from 10-12 noon. Items from the Farm Store can be purchased seven days a week, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the farm's offerings.
